Public Speaking amongst friends
Public Speaking for all... Matlock, Ashbourne, Buxton, Chesterfield, Belper, Clay Cross, Alfreton.
Thanks for visiting our Speakers Club website!
So what is a Speakers Club? It's a club where we practice and improve our public speaking and presentation skills.
We do this by giving prepared and impromptu speeches in a non threatening environment, giving each other support, encouragement and practical advice along the way.
Take your time and have a look around.
Give us a call or drop us an e-mail, if you would like to come along to one of our meetings and see what we do. We promise to make you feel relaxed and at home.
If you live in the Matlock, Ashbourne, Buxton, Chesterfield, Belper, Clay Cross or Alfreton areas and want to improve your public speaking and presentation skills, we would love to have you come and join us.
Harness the power of humour in all your Speeches and Presentations.
“ At the very start, let me just say that we both have something in common.
You don't know what I'm going to say... and neither do I.”
From Speaker's Handbook of Humour
by Robert Orben

I got a a promotion at work and soon realised that I would have to talk to committees and make presentations. I was dreading it!
Fortunately, Matlock Speakers Club has provided me with the skills, knowledge and confidence to be able to cope with all my new work demands and more besides.
I would recommend Matlock Speakers Club to anyone who wants to improve their confidence and Public Speaking Skills.

I've visited Matlock Speakers Club a few times since I became Midlands District President and have always found them a very friendly and hospitable club.
The atmosphere is relaxed and many of the speeches are light hearted and humourous.
I would recommend Matlock Speakers Club to anyone who wants to improve their Public Speaking and Presentation Skills.
